1. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

Account Information: Email address, nickname, and authentication credentials.
Health Data: Heart rate, blood oxygen, stress levels, and other biometric data collected through the AIZO Ring device. This data is stored locally on your device and synced to your secure account.
Prayer & Journal Data: Prayer reminders, journal entries, prayer requests, and devotional progress.
Device Information: Ring device identifiers (MAC address), battery status, and connection logs.
Usage Data: App interactions, feature usage patterns, and crash reports to improve our service.

2. How We Use Your Information

To provide and maintain the Confidein app services.
To sync your prayer reminders and health data across devices.
To enable social features such as prayer requests and community interactions.
To send notifications including prayer reminders and device alerts.
To improve our app and develop new features.

3. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase cloud infrastructure with industry-standard encryption. Health data is encrypted both in transit (TLS) and at rest. We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, alteration, or destruction.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We may share your information only in the following circumstances:

With your explicit consent (e.g., sharing prayer requests with friends).
With service providers who assist in operating our app (e.g., cloud hosting, analytics).
When required by law or to protect our legal rights.

You have the right to:

Access your personal data.
Correct inaccurate data.
Delete your account and associated data from within the app.
Export your data in a portable format.

6. Bluetooth & Sensor Data

The app uses Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) to communicate with the AIZO Ring. Sensor data collected through the ring (heart rate, SpO2, temperature, etc.) is processed locally and synced to your account. We do not share raw sensor data with third parties.

7. Notifications

We use local notifications for prayer reminders and device alerts. Notification access is optional and can be changed at any time in the app or device settings.

8. Account Deletion & Retention

You can delete your account from Settings > Delete Account. This removes your profile, prayer reminders, journal recordings, audio notes, prayer requests, comments, devotional progress, and related social data from our active systems. We may retain limited records only when required by law or to resolve security and abuse issues, and we delete those records when they are no longer needed.

9. Children's Privacy

Confidein is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe we have collected data from a child, please contact us immediately.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or via email. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
