Introduction

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Confidein application (“App”) and the AIZO Ring smart device integration. By using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Account Registration

  • You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
  • You must be at least 13 years of age to use the App.
  • One person may only maintain one account. Duplicate accounts may be terminated.

2. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
  • Attempt to interfere with, compromise, or disrupt the App or its servers.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the App.
  • Share inappropriate, offensive, or harmful content through the community features.
  • Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity.
  • Use automated systems or bots to access the App.

3. Health Data Disclaimer

The health measurements provided by the AIZO Ring, including heart rate, blood oxygen, stress levels, body temperature, and other biometric data, are intended for general wellness purposes only. They are not medical-grade measurements and should not be used as a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

Always consult a qualified healthcare provider for any health concerns. Do not disregard professional medical advice based on data from this App.

4. Prayer & Community Features

  • Prayer requests shared with the community are visible to other users based on your privacy settings.
  • You retain ownership of your prayer journal entries and personal content.
  • We reserve the right to remove content that violates community guidelines.
  • Testimonies and prayer request updates should be respectful and appropriate.

5. Device Integration

  • The App integrates with the AIZO Ring via Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE).
  • We are not responsible for hardware malfunctions or data loss due to device issues.
  • Firmware updates may be required for optimal functionality.
  • The App requires certain device permissions, including Bluetooth and notifications, to function properly.

6. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, features, content, and underlying technology, is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the App without our prior written consent.

Daily devotional content and Bible verses are sourced from publicly available translations and remain the property of their respective copyright holders.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. Upon termination:

  • Your access to the App will be revoked.
  • Your data may be deleted after a retention period.
  • You may request a copy of your data before account deletion.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Confidein and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid for the App in the twelve months preceding the claim.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated through the App. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
